SCS4T was the answer to all those who wanted the performance of SCS4 with the robustness of a floorstanding model.
An unlikely pair—though THIEL pairs were always sequential, these individuals are a perfect pairing.
Over a decade since their production, these speakers remain new and never owned.
THIEL SCS4Ts are among the last models from the brand that are truly time and phase coherent. These floorstanding speakers sound incredible with music and movies and can be used with or without a subwoofer. They have great bass on their own.
They come with solid machined aluminum outriggers to stabilize them against tipping. The included chrome spikes are an upgrade sourced from the CS2.4SE and were not originally available with the speakers.
Unlike speakers with a fabric cover, these come with magnetic steel mesh grilles which protect the driver against accidental damage. When these were in production in 2013 (made in Lexington, KY!) they retailed for $3690 per pair. Its impossible to build speakers of this quality for less than $5000 today. Other than two very small blemishes (pictured), these are in new condition.
